On October 11, 2008, we will hold our 5th Annual Bay Area/Galveston County Memory Walk. Last year local Memory Walks raised over $414,000 for local programs and services for the over 140,000 southeast Texans affected by Alzheimer’s disease. Please join us in our efforts by sponsoring the 2008 Bay Area/Galveston Memory Walk!
Memory Walk is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support, and research programs. Held annually in more than 600 communities across the country, it attracts a wide audience of individuals, families, caregivers, along with corporate and community leaders.
Home Instead Senior Care Southeast Houston & Bay Area - a sponsor of the Bay Area/Galveston Memory Walk, you will join the fight to end Alzheimer’s.
There are over 5.2 million people in the United States with Alzheimer’s. As baby boomers approach the age of greatest risk for the disease, 10 million baby boomers will have Alzheimer’s. In addition to the care and support we provide to those with Alzheimer’s and other related dementias, your local chapter offers an array of services to support the needs of their caregivers.
We hope that you will join us as a sponsor for the 2008 Bay Area/Galveston Memory Walk on October 11, 2008. Help us reach out to the thousands of families that need our support. Please contact us at 713-314-1331 for more information about this sponsorship opportunity.
